Mystery 167MB htc update

My phone just downloaded a 167mb update, when it prompted me to install it just said htc windows phone update.

I have no idea what the update installed, so far I haven't found anything

I already had portico installed, and not a single version number in my about page changed

I'm on T-Mobile US

If anyone has any idea what this is about i'd like to know, because right now I don't have a clue.

There is an update rolling around for T-Mobile users. Supposedly it contains fixes for Skype only but at that size I'm wondering if it's something more as well.
I just checked mine (unlocked or unbranded) but the OS is up to date.

I updated and after it rebooted and started back up it froze. Had to turn off and back on to get it going again. firmware version is now 1532.20.20008.531

Mine updated today with no issues (T-Mobile). Now shows version 1532.20.20008.531.

Its the Skype update fix and may also fix a few other outstanding issues as well.

Unfortunately from what I read it does not fix the dropped network MAJOR problem

It should definitely be the Skype update. The update started Jan. 28. The picture below was taken directly from Tmobile's site.

my firmware revision number is a bit different: 1532.20.20005.401

Got the update a couple of weeks ago.
Firmware is 1532.20.20002.773, carrier is 3 in Ireland

got some serious battery drain after this... from 06:00 am til now 50% of battery is gone in stand by mode, mostly. i had one short call. LOL
battery sense reports 11,5% battery drain per hour.

I'm getting battery issues as well. Battery drain went up from 1.x% to 7.9%! I wonder if there's an option to restore to the previous firmware.
