Need help on XBOX one s for copying pictures

I have ton load of pictures about 70 GB on my external hard drive , So i am trying to copy those to my XBOX one S as i want to use my external drive for something else . after copying over 2 GB or so the process terminating / timeout . How can i complete this copying process ?, Does anyone has same problem like me ? Please advise . Thank you
