New ATIV S stuck in boot cycle

Hi guys i jus got ativ s for my brother and today powered it on, went to phone update and it started to install, once boot if went into boot cycle. It would load the homescreen then boot again and again within 1 min and this will go on and on. M still on GDR1, however the GDR2 is already available in malaysia. Is there any solution to fix this boot cycle ? I already tried factory reset but same problem.

I've had this issue off and on since upgrading to GDR2. The last time that I turned off my phone, it kept boot crash looping for 5 minutes until I pulled the battery and the sim. Powered on without sim, and it still boot crashed 5 or 6 times until it finally successfully booted up. Turned off, replaced sim, and then it booted up successfully again.

I was initially worried that it was never going to successfully boot up again.

I have a friend with ATIV S, and he said that other than having this issue immediately after GDR2, it has never resurfaced for him.

Sent my phone to SC, they fixed the issue but didn't update my phone. When i checked for update it said its up to date although still on stock 102 firmware. Left with no choice i changed the CSC to ATO and vollaaa got GDR3 10517 straightaway
