This^^ Here in the U.S., we've had carrier billing for a while now. Incidentally though, I just discovered today that there is a $100 monthly limit on mobile purchases (including "in app purchases") using this payment method. Yes, I reached the limit today! Talk about supporting our developers eh???

3rd Confirmation, it is indeed Carrier dependent - O2 in the UK support carrier billing however Three (3) do not.

How about using PayPal in the Windows Phone App store?

Then just link debit card to PayPal...

its available for Idea only dude. I don't know if its permanent or they will add other carriers too. What a lame carrier to start with. They could have partnered with Vodafone or Airtel

I got a different issue. I can download paid apps through Idea 3g but get an error while doing the same through wifi 📶

That is because the app gets Idea authorization from Mobile data through its network
