I tried to install according to the method you described. It all went fine. But the thing is after the installation I didn't get PORTICO. My OS version now is:8.0.9903.10 . Please see the attached image. My product number (059Q9N2 - Telstra AU Red). Did download the wrong image??

Yes, that's old firmware image you downloaded.
The Portico must have the version number like "xxxx.xxxx.1249.xxxx"

"xxxx.xxxx.1242.xxxx" is the current firmware.

I have a Microsoft Build Lumia 920 that started acting up (Cam software stopped working and Internet Sharing) so I tried to do a "Reset Phone" and it bricked. I used the instructions here and had no issues! Saved my day, thank you.

Looks exactly the same in my case, but many more Portico ROM variants now...

Which ones are the "neutral" ROMS again, i.e. no carrier branding? The ones with "CV" in it? I think they added e.g. those for Singapore:

They also updated Nokia Care Suite to 2013.1.3.4.

Ok. Update to Portico done.

Nice to see that the manual added contact links are preserved after restoring the backup and accounts!!!

Although i have problems with restoring apps. It shows a big list of "Downloading applicat" and "attention required and keeps giving me an error 8000ffff

After flashing portico then going back to pre portico I think I'll just wait for official roll out. I had more bugs with portico anyway!

Also I'm on CV GB Rom which is unbranded but has no 4g option available (even portico did not have it). I use my O2 sim in my 920 and my 4G EE sim in my iPhone which is my second phone because EE reception at home is dire! If I put the EE sim in my 920 I cannot get 4G but if I flash UK EE rom I can get 4g!
So it would seem that the exclusive deal Nokia arranged with EE went as far as removing 4G from sim free handsets so the only way you could get 4G on any lumia was if the handset was purchased from EE? I assume when the exclusive deal runs out soon Nokia will push an update to UK unbranded handsets to add EE 4G support. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Also had this after updating. I just went through the Market and updated them one by one. That would be a problem if you had tons of apps hehehe...

Ive updated NCS and downloaded 1232.5951.1249.1017 EE rom, as my phone is from EE. I follow the instructions with restarting phone pressing VolDown+Power for 10 seconds and clicking Retry, phone goes to "white Nokia on black background mode", and NCS is showing "Rebooting phone...", but after one minute, NCS throws "Message send failed." error and phone stays in "white nokia on black background mode". Ive tried turning off the phone and then connecting to pc and its same.

Not for 10 seconds...only until it vibrates...then hit retry. Should not be more than 3secs...

hi. i try download frimewear but after 15 % donwloding get error time out and after that nothing happend. i delet all file its bigin from begining till 15 % and get error again. please help
