New Pictures not showing up in Photos app

Hi, I have the latest build on Lumina 1520. When I take pictures, they aren't showing up in the photos app. When I open the app it says "checking device for new photos". But none of them come up. The only way for me to access the pictures is to open the camera app, and see them through there. Any suggestions?

Same here I've found if I swipe down then back up to the point the scroll bar actually hits the top of the screen the new images will fade in to view :/
