Anyone been able to pull this off for pictures? My wife has a LG Optimus G and when I try to send over a pic with NFC her phone comes up with a "NFC Tag" screen with a bunch of garbled junk. But if I send a contact that goes through fine.

Also, when she tries to send something to me nothing comes up on the 920. Is there some special mode to set on the 920 to receive? It thought it was just simply tap it and go.

Just curious what others are seeing and who all has been able to pull it off.

I think from manufacturer and OS to OS implementation will vary. What process do you use to send her a picture from your 920?

I believe sending pictures between different OS's will only work via Bluetooth file transfer, not NFC.

I'm not sure why that is, or if an app can one day solve the issue.

I just head to the share option and select tap to send. It appears to be the same across all sharing from apps (like contacts).

Wow, that's disappointing. Hopefully that will get changed in the near future. I had thought it was an open standard that would work with any NFC enabled device.
