No data connection, except on Wi-fi

Well actually I can get a data connection, but only after rebooting the phone. After a few hours, it loses its data connection (but can call/sms) and I'll have to reboot again.

How do I know what's causing this? Settings for Data Connection: On, Highest connection speed: 3G.

Ah yes, I should have probably mentioned also. I'm in Malaysia, using an unlocked phone. However my current data plan is a Blackberru BIS from my previous phone. Would that have any bearing whatsoever?

Having the same issue after the Portico update. I was restarting the phone but then started putting the phone in Airplane mode for a few seconds and then disabling it. After that I am able to get data to work. I never had that issue before Portico though. I disabled the option to keep wifi active under the lock screen to see if the issue arrises again.

Blackberry data doesn't work on any other phone.

Had this pre-portico rarely when I would leave the household and disconnect my wifi. Now after portico, it happens more often, and will even happen when I don't have wifi on.
