No Hotmail account in app list since reset.

I can still see my two Gmail accounts in the app list but I cant see Hotmail. How can I add it?

Select outlook under add a new account. outlook=hotmail

When you go to Settings and Email+accounts, click on the Microsoft Account associated with this Hotmail account (assuming it is set up) and make sure there is a checkmark in e-mail under 'Content to sync'

I am facing a similar problem but a slightly different symptom where even if keep clicking on "microsoft account"... it does nothing i.e. i dont get an option to create a hotmail account... it just blinks and stays there.

Please help or provide pointers,

I saw this once, not on my own phone but someone else's HTC 8X running the original release of WP 8. After trying various things, the only way I was able to fix it was a hard reset. Make sure you have a backup of your pictures and stuff; then go to Settings/About and Reset Your Phone and start over.
