No longer able to store Onedrive on external drive?

I was happy in mid-December when Onedrive was finally able to be put on a MicroSD card so I could actually use my Surface without an annoying workaround. I had to reset my device last week to fix another issue, and now I am unable to store my onedrive on the external drive.

Is anyone else experiencing this, and is it an issue I can fix?

Some info:

I do use bitlocker, but the issue persists whether or not the MicroSD is encrypted.
I have tried formatting the MicroSD as both exFAT as well as NTFS.

Have you tried a program called SteamMover?
I have used it in the past to move program files from laptop to an sd card.
May work with onedrive.

Problem fixed itself somehow. Not sure why, hope it was my issue and now windows.
