No push notifications by WhatsApp

Hi,

I noticed an issue with my new Lumia 950. (Build 10.0.14393.321)
Although all notification in the system and within Whatsapp are enabled
I do not get notifcations in case of a new WhatsApp message.
Only if I open the app I see the new posts.
Does someone have the same problems and can give a hint?

I've been having the same issue, though I think it's intermittent. One day last week I received absolutely no notifications. I had to restart the phone then they started pouring in. So very disappointed in W10M and my Lumia 950 but that's another story entirely.

My 950 has done this from day one. Hard resets don't fix it, nor have updates. Also not just linked to WhatsApp, it's all push notifications for me.

I've been from WM6 to WP7 to WP8 to WP8.1 and now WM10. This will be my last Windows phone, completely fed up of the lack of support, bugs and broken promises from MS.

perform a soft reset , by holding volume down+power key whenever you face such issue with any app. this soft reset is the like a first aid to rescue. Further if the issue still persist reinstall the app.
