No response

So I have cortana, and it works. but she does not give me any response to my questions
i ask her to tell me a joke , and she puts on a joke site with bings search...

am i missing something ?...

I have the same thing. She does not respond.. only gives me bing results.

Posted it in another thread, but I did a hard reset and started from scratch. Cortana is now working properly.

Yes. Cortana was only giving me Bing searches until I did the full reset.

Will try it when I get home but HOPEFULLY this gets resolved by MS before the update goes out for real so the non-techy people that are still on WP8 can not have to reset their phone or that would suck.

having the same problem. no way in hell I am hard-resetting. I don't have time for this nonsense.... I d rather not have cortana than having to hard reset. this is lame. I guess it is beta, as MS says.
