Damn, I guess you are just hard to please then. My AT&T branded screen protector works great. The HTC hard shell fits perfectly on my Surround. Found plenty of cases to fit my phone (hint:your phone is not unique, compare the size to other models w/cases) and I guess I don't know what I am missing with the 195 apps/games on my phone, about half of which are paid. Sure I would like updates more often but hey, that's how it goes. Maybe its time for you to move on before you have health issues from the stress though. Enjoy your new phone.

i posted it on another thread and said exactly that: "buy the phone for what it is today, not what it will be."

IMO, starting to regret the windows phone purchase, or maybe i'm just tired of it because nothing seems to updatedly-impress me. it's been how many months, like 6? there still are no decent cases or screen protectors for the focus (i've wasted $60 trying), no one has addressed the SD card issue (though mine works, luckily), there are like 3 free apps worth using and like 4 PAID apps worth buying (so i don't buy any at all anymore or even search and try any for that matter), and lastly, the update that was supposed to come at the beginning of the year is being pushed *LIKELY* to Q2 or beyond.

why anyone would buy WP7 and not make note of the above situations is pretty ludicrous IMO.

to note, the #1 biggest problem with the WP7 for me and probably 90% of people that came from the iphone, is that the apps really, really suck in comparison, and cost a lot more (to find out they suck).

Many of the apps for the iOS suck, too. There are many gems, like Things and Twitterific. But there are many reasons to stick with WP7, imho. The primary one is that it does NOT do notifications like the iOS does.

yeah, but it would really shock me if anyone actually believed the availability of free apps was more robust with WP7. there are so many apps that don't even have a free counterpart, which you could generally always find with apple.

A fair point, as I said I came from Symbian, the app choice wasn't huge.

I'd love to get some suggestions for apps you'd like to see, my first has been pretty successful (and it's free :) ) but as much as I want to move on to other projects I'm not going to crank out shovelware which drives up the app count, I'd rather get some quality out there
