Nokia 625 update to 8.1 software now apps not working

hi i received the update to 8.1 this week. after the update none of my app wants to work. All the apps needs to be updated but the phone ask for the windows live id account which i never used and dont know the password of. how do i fix this do i need to reset my phnone because i tried the password recovery but i don't have enough information on the account as i never used it.
