Is it possible to send a living image as a gif over, for example, whatsapp?

I don't think a "living image'' will show as a 'living image" when sent or emailed anywhere or by any means,
let alone as a gif. It's static - no movement.

There is movement when viewed by Nokia camera though.

I tried to rename to both .gif and .mp4 on the phone, but neither work. Or the phone won't play them.

Until this very moment I didn't think to download the renamed files to the pc to check. Oops.

The one you want ends in .mp4.thm file extension.

Copy to PC, edit the file by right clicking the file > properties > erase .thm form the name field > click OK > click Yes on the change file extension warning box... You now have the Living Image in mp4 form to play in any video player.
