Nokia Lumia 520 Cortana Help

Cortana was just released yesterday, but in April my phone updated itself to 8.1. I'm a US citizen, so I know that Cortana is already available in my area, but how do I get it on my phone? My phone says that it is already updated, but there is no option that will allow me to gain access or install Cortana. How do I get it on my device?

Make sure your region is set up right, make sure its US English, and check the settings under language, region, especially speech.
