The Nokia Homepage says that the amber update for my lumia 620 is coming soon to my country, but I've been waiting for a couple of days now for the "coming soon" to turn into "available".

Amber and any other firmware update flashes the ROM with the new version. So, any factory reset will land you with the current firmware only. So, no worry.

Haha ive done the same when it showed coming soon status in India and it took a whole 3 weeks to become available after that.... thing is even after 1 week of it being released in India i still dont have it cos it dont come to all phones together, it rolls out in batches depend on config id...

Can any body tell me what this error means " Changing device mode failed (222). Unable to switch to uefi mode|NokiaSoftwareUpdaterForRetail.Connectivity|Wait for Uefi mode change, timeouted.|NokiaSoftwareUpdaterForRetail.Connectivity".

This error code i got from the error log file while flashing L620 and upgrading it from 1030.6407.1308.0001 to 1030.6407.1308.0002 through NSU.
While upgrading it is generating this error code and telling upgrade is failed due to above mentioned reason.

Nokia Lumia 620 AMBER Update will be available only on the last week of September (ie) btwn 22 - 30. So give it a rest. Stop checking for updates.
