Nokia Lumia 620 takes 3.7 MP pictures?

When I used office lens, it had the ability to take 5 MP pictures (2592x1956), that got me confused as the 4 MP pictures were set to default. Was it the same with my camer? So I looked at the resolutions of pictures and saw that pictures taken by my 620 have resolution of 2592x1456, that is about 3.7 MP where as it is supposed to take pictures of 2592x1956 (5 MP). Why is this? How do I take true 5 MP pictures? Office Lens allows that, I am sure the camera will allow it too.

Depends on your aspect ratio setting. 16:9 takes 3.7 MP photos, and 4:3 takes 5 MP photos.
