So I was looking in duvi's thread on the 8S. Looking at the specs, what makes this phone special that it can run WP8 OS, and 2nd gen WP7 devices can't? **** even 1st Gen devices. Will the 8S be a WP7.8 release device?

Is it the duel core processor?

The UEFI / SecureBoot bootloader and the TPM chip in it, most likely

Nothing. It's been stated they could have done it, but it would require additional resources to get it to work. Pretty pathetic excuses honestly. If anything the 8S looks like it's lower spec'd except for that dual core processor.
