How many of you prefer the 920 or 925?

How many of you prefer the 830?

Which of these devices is the better buy here in 2015? ( PRICE ASIDE )

Just wanna hear what others think is the better device

War!!

As a 925 owner for over a year and three months, I'm in love with my phone. My next phone will be a 1520 or save up for the new 940 XL. As a customer of AT&T, sadly my only upgrade choice is a Lumia 830 however the only advantages that it has over my 925 are Lumia Camera 5.0, a 5" screen and motion data (since I'm into personal fitness) and micro SD card support.

I like that the AT&T Lumia 830 doesn't have any branding on the front. Branding on the front of a device just bumps it up in the ugly department and takes away many style points IMO. Keep that branding on the back.

But what I don't like, is that AT&T only sells the 830 with the black metal rim.

I have both. 920 is way better for very low light photography and has super solid body. For some apps it can run slightly faster. But overall, the 830 wins, especially battery endurance, which for me, was the biggest weakness of the 920. Otherwise, I wouldn't have sidegraded

T-Mobile here, love my 925. Not the greatest storage, but OneDrive does the job. Waiting to see what options I have this fall. 640 seems ok, but would like more options. I could really live with this phone for a while if the battery lasts, had it since 8/13. This phone for me is just about the perfect size, might go for a 5 inch screen, not much more. Love the camera, takes great pictures. On another note, not good results trying the W10 preview. First one loaded, but crashed. Latest preview results in endless reboots, tried twice, never started, long hours restoring.

My 920 is now my spare unit on W10TP. Not so good, even after hard resets. Hope the next built is better.. C'mon MSFT, we're waiting with bated breath...

Agree. Same situation. Same impression.

After seeing them both in person, I like black metal better.

But, to each his own.

I Love the Black Too!!

I just don't like that AT&T deprived the device from it's colors.... I really think that the 830, along with the 930, 1520, and 925 are the Top Most Beautiful Lumia

I've had a 920 for 2 years solid. Tried going to a 635 and it just wasn't the same. I don't know that its the best of the three, having never tried either the 925 or 830, but while this phone still chugs along I'll never upgrade away from it until a true upgrade comes to light.

Not the fairest comparison IMO. The 920 was a bigger leap forward and a landmark device at the time. The 830 doesn't make that kind of impact in the mobile world but is a lot newer. In a strictly apples-to-apples comparison, the 830 wins. I own both.

I have had a 920 for about 6 months and just got an 830 yesterday. For me the 830 wins. Bigger screen, removable battery and sd card slot are the big factors. Plus its a newer device. Also can't forget LTE on AT&T.

Raw performance 920 win but other than that 830 win

Snapdragon S4 is beast but eat lot of power
I would've agreed with you but outside of a minimal impact in gaming the 830 does seem faster overall. And I've both the 920 and 830 on Denim running Update 2
