After a hard reset I chose (UTC) Dublin, Edinburgh, Lisbon, London time but it tells me that it is actually 3 hours earlier than it is. I tried to change the time but it just says that I can't set up my nokia account because the date and time today are different from the phone.... Help please!!

I had exactly this problem with Windows Phone 8.1 on my Lumia 925. It crashed completely whilst playing a video on YouTube a couple of weeks ago so I had to hard boot it, after which the time was wrong. In the end I had to disable the automatic updating of the time in the Settings, manually set the time, and then set automatic updating by to enabled.
Last night my phone crashed again, I hard booted it again, and didn't notice that the time was wrong again before I went to sleep. Which led to me getting into work two hours early! Not impressed.
