Mine has a screwed up Windows Key, the back light shows crap underneath. I also noticed the screen has glitching when scrolling. My Lumia 822 didn't have either of these issues.

The Top right corner glass since not being covered by the protective info-graph shows a different reflection.

Hey, I bought a new one today and my Windows Key is like that as well! Not a huge problem, but kind of odd.

Anyone have a problem that whenever they go on wifi after like some time it stops working ? Going to airplane mode on and off will fix it but I rely on instant data (push notifications). Any tips or advice on how to continue?

Ok so I'm on my second 928. He first had he windows button delamination concern listed above. But now my second has a similar issue. On dark screens e.g. Glance screen I can see black splotches and or swipes of black. Looks like the glass is delaminating or not properly glued down. I'm just afraid to get another swap out in case the 3rd one is worse. Has anyone heard of a fix or confirmation of a bad production run?
There are many posts about this problem, and some of us have gone to Nokia about it. Without much success.

Two problems I seem to keep having and this is my 2nd 928 with these issues
1st: ear microphone cuts out randomly.
2nd: volume control after amber update stops working and the only thing I can do is reboot. Seems to be time based as it happens over night or when I switch from Bluetooth to headphones.
Anyone else have the ear speaker problems?

I have skull candy 50/50 in ear headphones with in-line mic, play & pause and volume that I used with iPhone 4. The play/pause and mic worked with the 928 when I first got it. After the Amber update they only work as headphone and mic.

Does anyone know of a quality in-ear headphone with mic and inline controls that works with the 928?

Jaybird BlueBuds X BT headset works well with the 928, all controls work as advertised. Audio is very good for Bluetooth, assuming you have a good fit.

It's the case I had on my phone that caused the earphone to knock out. It is an approved 928 case with all the holes in the right places but the noise cancellation is causing the ear to stop working. Just got off the phone with Verizon and a patch should be enroute from Nokia soon. Give it a try and let me know if that fixed it for you:)

Last night I noticed the dip in volume bug, where sometimes it will lower so much that you can't hear it and suddenly spike back up to 30.

This morning a calendar notification popped up on my phone, which had been sitting on its wireless charger all night. I clicked dismiss and went to shower. I came back and my phone was turned off (even though it was still on the charger, which means the 'Peek' feature should've been on). I tried pressing the power button several times but the phone would not start up at all. I plugged it into the wall charger and left it for 2 hours, but nothing happened. Then I did the soft reset trick delineated in this thread (power button + volume down button for about 12 seconds), the screen flashed and the phone vibrated and it booted up. It now seems like everything is okay but I'm freaked out about it: like my phone is going to die permanently and I'll lose all my saved game data.

I'm on my third 928 now. First one had screen issues and the battery was bad. The second one also had screen issues, the ear speaker stopped working, the speakerphone worked when it wanted to and the buttons were "blotchy" I guess just like everyone else, and my nokia monster headphones with buttons that are supposed to work with the 928, stopped working after the Amber update which took two days. I thought it was bricked then the third day, I woke up and it was working but as I already stated, the ear speaker gave out, the speakerphone acted up, and the headphones buttons didn't work anymore.

I'm on my third now and it's almost perfect. Only issue I can find is the 3 buttons are still a little "blotchy". This one updated and reset correctly and didn't take 2 days like my last one, my nokia monster headphones controls work now which is huge for me. I really wish the workmanship of these phones was a lot better because I love WP8 and I have honestly got 5 of my friends to switch already because it is really good.

Ever since updating to Amber I've had this weird issue of my 928 randomly acting like i'm selecting stuff on the screen. I.e I'm typing a text and without any fingers on the screen it starts typing mmmmmmmm mnnnnnn 9 and i'm staring at it wondering wtf. The solution so far is turn off the screen then unlock it again and it stops. Haven't reset the phone yet but it's a very odd problem...hope it's not hardware.

I've had exactly this same problem since update, as well. If on the home screen, it will open apps, tap controls if they're in the right place, and the like. Like you, I haven't done a hard reset, and was hoping it wouldn't come to that. Looks like it may. :straight:

Yeah, I used double tap for about a day, but when it started waking in my pocket and making the sound that it was waiting for a voice command.... No.
