1. Change the proxy (103.13.29.118 and port 8888)
2. Using Sysapp pusher app open Nokia Pro Cam link it should take you to store to open Nokia Camera in Stores
3.tap on install or update as per option can be seen
4. it will give error
5. just disable the proxy and install it by retrying from downloads in store

I have updated Nokia Pro cam with Nokia Cam using same trick on my Lumia 720. its working fine

I was enjoying Nokia Pro Cam on my Lumia 720 until I need to reset my phone. Nokia Pro Cam is now Nokia Camera. I am having GDR3 update and tried proxy changing trick multiple times but whenever I tried to change proxy and went to Store, always message is coming like "We can't connect with store..." . Please tell if any alternative way is also there. I am tired of googling the topic.

The 103.13.29.118 proxy is working now. Changing region is not necessary. But keep patience. It takes a long time. It took me 15 mins to connect to store

Yes, true. I left my phone for 30 mins and then tried. It worked.
Nokia should release Nokia Camera for all Carl Zeiss len mobiles. Why to compromise for 5MP when you have 6+ :winktongue:

1. Will Pro Cam (now Nokia Camera) receive automatic updates when installed this way? Or do you have to turn the proxy on and update the same way you installed, once you hear about updates on the forum?

2. I have question about this post from the Update Thread:

Just installed Nokia Refocus app on my Lumia 720 using "103.13.29.118:8888" proxy.

"117.135.139.179:8888" proxy was showing app not available for your phone.

PS: The resolution limit for 512MB RAM phones is similar to Smart Cam app i.e. 1MP. So the pics will be noisy.

Does this mean that all photos are now 1MP in the proxy installed Pro Cam app? Or, does this mean only the SmartCam/Burst mode shots are 1MP?

1) Nokia Cam will be officially available to all Lumia devices after Black rolls out. So you will receive update for the app just like other apps. Until then, if the Nokia Cam app gets updated, you have to manually update it by following the proxy technique all over again.

2) ProCam (Now Nokia Cam) takes pics at 5MP res (aspect ratio 16:9) and 6.7MP res (aspect ratio 4:3).

Ok, just realised this morning that my store regional setting is now the US, after using this proxy. I changed my time and language settings back to UK last night. Any ideas? Probably not a huge issue to keep it this way, but could it cause any problems in the future?
