Not all features available with Denim on Lumia 930 - India

Anyone here from India updated their L930 to denim?

Looks like feature of Denim varies from country to country... I've updated my L930 to Denim. I can see the burst shot and 4K recording, but not rich capture. Also as per Denim announcement Indian region will be getting Cortana (alpha version) but it is not available to me yet in reality....

Cortana Alpha version is already here (I'm on PFD on L630 Region: India, Language: English UK)
Try using that language. Cortana doesn't work with English India

That was quick and yes it worked for me. Thanks a lot BTW another user helped me find the rich-capture mode too which i missed to locate.

Open Lumia Camera -> Settings -> Video. There you can set the resolution upto 2160P with 30FPS

Hmm. I've always wandered if this will only set normal video recording to that quality, or only the long pres button. Are u sure this is it?

The option i mentioned earlier is option to enable the resolution settings for video recording whether you long press or go via video recording feature. If you want to record video just by long press and hold the camera button, then go to Settings -> General -> Camera key press and hold. Here if you select video you will be able to record video just by press and hold. Else you can change this to photo burst to capture a series of pictures by press and hold

If you set everything to US, ideally it should work. BTW dont forget to install the Hey Cortana and enable it from settings after installation

Cortana is installed and available in my 930. But the option of Hey Cortana is not present in the settings. Looks like we might have to flash the US firmware, in order to get it.

No you do not have to flash the US firmware. I am on a non-US firmware but have change the following settings :

Keyboard : US English
Language : Engish (United States)
Region : United states [Language : English (United States)]

After setting everything above and restarting the phone, you should have the "Hey Cortana" option in settings. Then you have to go to Settings>Hey Cortana to enable it.

I live in New Delhi and I am using the same settings as A-jay-den. I still can't see the option of Hey Cortana in my settings.
