In email+accounts section, message is shown as "Not upto date". When clicked or Synced it shows error as 8007490. Account server is : bay402-m.hotmail.com server.
I have soft reset my phone 3 times and Hard reset phone 2 times, anyone else seeing above mentioned error?

Hi Pankaj, Thanks for reply. Yes date and time are correct. What I noticed is same error is coming on my Windows laptop as well when I try to access Contacts or Outlook mail.
Everything was working fine till last week. On last weekend I cleaned up laptop which was upgraded from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10. So I reset the laptop and clean installed Windows 10 on it. It seems from that day onwards I saw the Error code 8007490 on my phone and not knowing the reason I reset my phone atleast 6-7 times till now (both hard reset and soft reset.) Yesterday while I was accessing outlook on my laptop I saw the same error 0x8007490, so I opened People app on laptop and saw the same error.
Can anyone point me to support/solution?

I've been trying to figure out a solution for a long time. No help from Microsoft, but a lot of people have that issue. I wish I knew the fix.

Interesting. Can you check if the time zone on your Microsoft account is the same as that on your phone?

Interesting that you mention that. I had a Microsoft account with a different time zone/zip code, and when I got my Windows phone months later, I put in the correct time zone. I can't remember what the problem was, but I know there were some kind of issues, until I corrected it in the Microsoft account. I wonder if that could have caused the issue and it just carried over forever.

My timezone is correct. I did more experiment. I reset my phone again and this time I configured different outlook account. The account obviously didnot show any error nor any message like "not upto date". After this, I added my original account that had issues earlier. Now the account was in sync without any issues!!!! I went to configuration of the account and removed SSL checkbox and I saw the error message "Not upto date" !!!!!
Rechecked the SSL box and error was gone!

Unfortunately when you configure your account as a primary users on phone, you dont get SSL option and you have to live with the error message!
