Office Apps asking for an Office 365 Subscription!

Hi when I try to open or create docs (Word/Excel/Powerpoint) etc on my 950XL. It is asking me to purchase an Office 365 subscription!
I do have an Office 365 subscription. Surely the Office Apps on the 950, like my 930 just work.....
It keeps telling me if I do manage to open Docs previously created that I cannot save them unless I get an Office 365 subscription!

I have contacted Microsoft Support, who, very unusually have been useless. Never ever had a bad experience before with them.
Not sure what to do.

Anyone any ideas?

1. Try reinstalling them.
2. a hard reset may be necessary, but don't jump to that if 1 doesn't work.

When you go to settings > accounts in one of the office apps what does it show?

Mine has both my accounts in there, I have no trouble saving, one of my accounts has a 365 sub, but my main one doesn't

My Account is there.
I am going to log off and reboot phone and see if it asks me to log back in.

Logging out and rebooting then logging back in has worked! I thought I was going mad.
