(Official) I just got my Lumia 900

Just opened the brown box...AT&T your shipping department sucks. No padding in the box so the phones box must have bounced around a lot. and the phone box was opened and the sim was inserted but not resealed. Haven't powered on yet still syncing my Samsung Focus to get my pictures off the phone...

Just showed up!! Except the fedex lady almost didn't stop she said. Some guy was wandering around and had collapsed in my yard. EMT and Police were all here...TOOO much excitement for one day!

Just picked up my two Lumia 900 (both Black) from the AT&T store, however, the sales team were clueless on how to activate it. I ended up just leaving with the phones since im still on Sprint and will just call later and try to activate it

i just got mine!! YAY! it looks awesome. IM NEVER GOING BACK TO ANDROID AGAIN!
I LUV MY NOKIA LUMIA 900!! :D

1:55pm - Fedex just dropped mine off in Colorado. Just opened it up. 1st impression is one of really liking the build of this phone.

I just got my black Lumia 900 at 2:55 PM, 5 minutes before the deadline of their "BY 3:00 PM" lol...

Also the driver hit the doorbell and then ran, leaving it at the doorstep.

Did he actually run? Like doorbell ditching? Or just ring it and then walk back to truck. For some reason your sentence made me laugh when I imagined him bolting to a still running, hard to miss FedEx truck lol

Just got mine! The driver didn't doorbell ditch. He even asked my name before handing it to me.

Received mine as well. That cyan color is very inviting. The setting up and loading up is always fun :)

She did run, I saw her coming to the door so I was on my way down the stairs and she rang it, I opened the door and she was jogging back to her truck and was already rounding the corner of her truck by the time I had the door fully opened to realize the box was on the ground. So yes, basically a ding-dong-ditch. And this is normal for the FedEx drivers around here. I can only guess they are overloaded with deliveries.

Also there was only one piece of air wrapping in the box it was delivered in and that piece was popped... so there was probably a lot of movement... Good thing these things are Solid State and not mechanical discs. Also my seal was broken and the micro sim is punched out and installed. Charging now and then will have to figure out this activation for porting my number from AT&T and Verizon, there were no details included for this process.

The build quality is just amazing..hard to say it is nonmetallic just by holding/touching it. And the signal strength seems awesome

My driver did the same thing, she yelled thank you from the truck as she was jumping in. How long should this take to activate? Did the online activation hours ago, which said to keep using my old device until it activated. My iPhone is still going and the Lumia has the little no sim(guessing) icon...

I have to admit I'm more pleased that I thought I would be. The build quality is top notch and the screen is gorgeous.
