Official Lumia 920 GDR2/Amber Update Thread

Am I going crazy, or are the "Nokia message," "Nokia email," etc. tones different in this update?

I know I was using built in tones before and yet I can't find the ones I was using anymore.

I flashed the developer ROM, if that makes any difference.

I bought a new handset and flashed the dev amber rom straight away & I too have different tones

any news if microsoft/nokia is going to fix the ''bug'' from the post process to photos? I mean.. when you take the picture is perfectly sharp, then the post processament gives a green ton on it..

Great no update appeared for my product code. Kindly update us with your feedback. Also I would not be updating through NCS as it is very hectic to install everything again. I hope they add it through OTA.

someone could help me pls?
Just updated my Lumia 920 to Amber.
Got Radio, Date sense, but no Glance screen, no sms/call blocking, no double tap to awake.
Any advices what to do?

Does anyone have/noticed a similar problem when making an image search using bing? When you tap "show more images" the results are no longer same sized squares but mismatched collection of different widths so that some preview images is cut out of the screen. (After Amber update)

The easiest way is with a app called LUMIA pusher. If you don't have it search the store for a app called nokiaupdates, when you start the app you can update all system apps from nokia.Update every of them,and you will get all features from the Amber update. Otherwise look here on wpcentral for other solutions.

I recently purchased a Dev. Edition 920 and I'm running it on NET10(ATT) which I was on with my Nexus 4. Question I have is what should I expect time wise in getting GDR2/Amber on this phone OTA being on a prepaid service like NET10? Any thoughts on that question? I just got this phone to try out WP8 so I'm new to WP and how the updates generally will go with different carriers.

Actually you can't get LumiaPusher on the store anymore. Look for SysApp Pusher now.
