One stream killed my mobile

I had hard reset my phone some 18hrs ago and after all was done i wanted to see the ign live Watch Dogs on YouTube / IGN. I had 900mb in my phone and 300mb something in Others, i clicked the damn thing and watched it for 20min when low memory alert prompted. And after 2 minutes my memory hit 0.00kb.
And Others went upto 1.4GB. Wtf ?
Just one stream of an hour took all my space away ?
I am through with this...i don't care for WP8.1 anymore. I just don't want myself facing new OS problems with wp.

Other storage is the main reason why I left WP8

I hard reset 7-8 times in 7 months span.

I had to baby sit the damn storage like a baby on my 820.

Hard reset is the only solution.......no other solution really worked for me..
