Outlook Mail and Calendar live tile not updating

Stalled calendar updates can be reactivated by adding an event and deleting it again.

Try resizin live tile instead. Faster

I have given feedback for this numerous times. Unfortunately calendar and mail tiles are not updating in many devices.

I swear there was a feedback about this very issue that's trending up nicely last week, it had over 200 votes and 6-7 comments. This week, that feedback is nowhere to be found. And despite the numerous other feedback on this issue, it remains broken. At this point I'm convinced the feedback hub is a total sham and I'm trying other avenues to get MS to address this problem:

The only thing I haven't tried is reflash the OS with the recovery tool. That will probably fix it but its too much fuss.

I'm using RS1 NI on my Lumia, Tiles work great!!!

But did you use recovery tool or just do HR? Someone in another thread claims HR won't fix it but using recovery tool will. I'm still deciding whether to attempt that.

HR, not Recovery. I own a 650, it was born with 10, not 8.1

Still nothing happened after the update... Maybe the live tile of the calendar is fixed but i am not sure yet... Definitely the live tile of outlook is not fixed. It does not update whatsoever... (lumia 650). But we are PATIENT AREN'T WE???

RS2 (14915.1000): calendar tile not doing anything at all, not even the date. Just shows an icon.

I have 3 different Mail tiles, for different accounts, all of which are working OK.

I contacted Microsoft Support India and they told me to use the WDRT to roll back and then upgrade to W10 and that it was a software issue .

So much effort needed to correct a basic feature of the OS ! I am dreading going through all that !
