Painting a Lumia 820 shell?

So I've had my 820 for a while now and I've purchased a few shells for it, and I must say that I am addicted to these things! But I'm wondering, has anyone successfully tried to paint the shell? Wouldn't mind a royal blue or maybe a bright green option! If so, how and what kind of paint did you use?

Do you use any cases for your 820? What I do, for my yellow phone, is I use one of those transparent blue TPU cases. It gives a really cool two-tone green look, while adding protection at the same time

No just a variety of shells. Maybe ill look into that!
