Panorama or Multishot feature?

On my HTC Touch Pro 2 the camera had a feature where i could take a series of 5 or so photos of different poses and things and it would have all those shots on one picture

i thought it was called panorama but when i looked that up it looks like panorama lets u take one long wide photo that u can stretch across what seems like 2 pictures

what is the name of the feature that was on the touch pro 2? is it multishot or something else? is this available on wp7 in a app or built into the phone?

I have something called burst shots on my Radar. It takes a series of photos, but there doesn't seem to be an option to merge them into one picture. I'm not completely certain, but I think it's a feature added by HTC so I don't know what options other phones have.
