This is a great deal even before the edu discount. The Orignal Pebble watch for $80, I have been eyeing these over the last week and they sit near $80-100 on ebay, even used...and this is brand new !

If you are a student and have access to a .edu email account, you can get $20 more off, making it $60 before tax.

Now that we have Windows Phone support (yea, a hack but, it works)and if you were looking for a cheap smart watch to use with your phone, this is it and the best deal you can find on it...

I grabbed one, with tax it came to $63.80 shipped (WOW !)

no thank you

Can I ask, What is the point of your post ? As your not interested in it, others might because it is a good price for the watch. Your comment has no bearing on this thread

Do you even read this site ?

Here is how to get Pebble smartwatch notifications to work on Windows Phone | Windows Central

It fully works with Windows Phone with a hack method (sideloading an app), Please do your homework before posting negative things to a thread. Thank you.

I guess your only choice is the Band, a fitness band, not a watch. If you want choice on a smartwatch for Windows Phone, you will be waiting a long time. As no one is supporting it or planning to(some upcoming models claiming but, we have seen that before and no support). If you want a top smartwatch, your only choice is to switch to Android or iOS, as there is crap support for WP.

However, but, for $63, I will use it with the "hack" of an app that might be released (an app created by Microsoft). If I dislike it, I will put it up on ebay and sell it for $80 and if I take care of it, I wont have a problem at that price right now.

So, for me, it's a Win-Win

Maybe some people want a cheap smartwatch to try to see if they want to get a better one once a fully supported one comes out ? One would think that if you were thinking of a smartwatch, get something like this, live with it for a month or so, and if you love it, then when a better model hits with full support, then you can go for it... For the price, nothing else touches it in the price range OR battery life for a smart watch.

However, just wanted to post it here to see if anyone wanted to grab one.... And I still agree your comment STILL has no bearing on this thread and just goes to bash the thread.

I was thinking about buy one and I hold myself and say no... They dont deserve my support

Hot Smartwatch | Bluetooth Watch | Hot Watch has full support

And the BASIC model starts at $179.99, $100 more (or in my case $120 more).

OK, so now that is 2....

It's cool, it's still a good deal for the Pebble and it does fully work with a hack..

I hate the fact that they don't support it but, for like $63, I can have a smartwatch that fully works with my phone, I am cool with it, till something better comes down the line.

If you don't like it cool but, you can actually say Windows Phone is lacking in this area big time.

Thanks for the heads up. Just got mine with my .edu discount too! Amazing deal.

Got mine in the mail today and just got done setting everything up. I had to update it with my OnePlus One first, but after that, everything went just fine and I was able to successfully pair it with my Lumia 830.

I'm really liking this thing. It's not nearly as big as I thought and it looks pretty cool to me. I especially like the fact that Cortana notifications come through.

Agreed, I got this (once we had an app that works with it of course), to see if I would LIKE the concept of having a smartwatch. Over the last week, I think I love it. I get notifications from 3 email accounts and never mind texts and phone calls.

My wife has a iPhone and I used that to update it but, after researching, you can get one of the apps on the marketplace and go to pebblebits.com and create a custom firmware to update the watch and just put that link in any of the Pebble apps that can install firmware in the WP store.

This stops me from pulling my phone out of my pocket 10 times ever hour, when a new email comes in, I can see enough information on the watch to tell me if I want to fully read or reply to it. Same with texts or even phone calls. And yes, I also get Cortana notifications too !

The Nicest thing about this watch, is after 6 days, it still had about 30% battery left (estimated). With all the notifications I got over the week and after 6 days, still plenty of battery left ? Very impressed. There is not very many smartwatches that can do that.

Even better, you can go swimming with it on...

If I was picking a new smartwach after living with my 301BL for about a week. I would like a color display and a microphone on it so cortana could hear me better (when MY phone is in my pocket) but, with about the same battery life.

After just owning this for a few days, If we had official Pebble support, I would put in a order on Kickstarter for the Pebble time, it seems like it will fit the bill on what I want (64 color display, Microphone and 7 day battery life). BUT ! Not willing to spend $200+ on a watch that might not work on the next version of my phone at this time.

Still, I am loving it, never thought I would like a smartwatch or use one but, after owning it, I love it !

For $63 after shipping one of the best bangs for the buck I have gotten in a while :) (if you go to the slickdeals fourms, people are posting their student codes, that is where I got mine)
