People App Crashing

Anyone else experiencing app crashing.... This started happening a day or so ago. I would click on the tile, and the icon goes full screen for about 1second, then back to start screen. I uninstalled then reinstalled but that didn't help

Yep, the same happened to me & am now back on 8.1.1 due to failed hard resets :-(

Many have reported this at the MS Community site and elsewhere. Apparently our friends in Redmond are aware of the problem and are hard at work to fix. In the meantime, catch up on your reading.

I also have this problem with the People app on Windows 8.1. I happend after I did some contact editing on the Windows Live People website.. I hope someone or microsoft will come with a fix!

Update. When I removed the link with my Twitter (via the Live People website) the app started up again! I also have a link with my Linkedin, Skype en Google, but those connections don't break the app on my machine.

Maybe this a sollution for some of you?

How do you update? I didn't see any updates on mine.
