People Hub and Battery drain

Thanks to 8.1 I have seen that the item using up the most of my battery is the people Hub. It is using up about 15x as much as the next one down. Any ideas how to decrease this or should i just delete the accounts in the WP accounts?

Soft reset? Or if you can't fix do a hard reset.
