Pesky Microsoft Account

The email used for the initial Microsoft account on the 630 is not the one I use for daily traffic. Both are outlook accounts.

My prime account is @live.com (both from same company - outlook) but the lumia630 won't accept me adding another outlook address,

Trying to create a new acct it rejects& tells me an outlook acct already exists (the one i dont want). Also I cannot even log into this unwanted email acct via the 630.

Guidance plz.

Might have to do a hard reset to sign in with a different Microsoft account. (Settings - about - reset your phone)

What do I lose with a reset? e.g. Are my Calender & Reminders apps safe?

How do I recover my backup if my reset is to change my registered email? Won't the backup be filed under the old email?

Just an update in the hope someone has an answer. After hard reset I still have the same problem.

• My microsoft acct for backup etc is an @outlook acct.
• My daily emails acct is a @live acct.

When I try to log into my daily email acct (live.com) I get > enter password > "Downloading messages, might take a few minutes" > "Live acct info is incorrect."

** Well it's not incorrect.

Is there a way to save my contacts list apart from upload to the cloud microsoft acct, so I can ditch the current microsoft acct & start over?
