Phone becoming slow!!

Its now a year im a happy Lumia 720 user.Not even a single hard reset.
But the phone now seems to show laggyness.
Store apps take time to load details,sometimes the phone stucks.
App list loading slowly!!
Is it a normal thing??
Or any one has any solution for this?

Does not sound normal. My 810 which isn't my daily anymore still is fast as ever. I use my 925 mainly but use the 810 a lot still and have had over a year.

How much free space do you have left of the phone. Personally id leave 1GB free regardless so system or Other have room to expand.

Ya i still have 1.09 gb free phone memory.
I want to ask is the spinning gear problm on hard resetting removed after the black update??
I am preferring to do a hard reset?

I thought I was the only one with my Lumia 720 but I guess it was coz its dev preview well we just gotta wait for nokia cyan update to smooth things out a bit

It could just be dev preview may not work 100% with 720. Not entirely sure why... Like I said, 810 is over year old and put on 8.1 with original data and no slow down and 925 is 5 months old. Have a 6-7 month old 521 also so. I guess wait for cyan. You tried soft resets holds vol down and power I assume as well tho? Hold till vibrate on reboot.

It should be... I had reset dads Lumia on 8.0 black... If anything goes wrong tho you could always use this method to correct it and erase still.

My phone is out if warranty and
I would hold in for doing a hard reset!!!!
Still there are users facing spinning gear problm.
I would rather wait for official wp 8.1.

I found the solution for this problem.
The app named "ICQ" was causing the problem.
I have uninstalled it and i m not facing the problem any more.

I won't dare hard reset my Lumia 720 after that spinning gears problem. I had to fix my phone using Nokia Software Recovery Tool on my PC. I have the same question as yours.. Is the spinning gears problem solved in Black update?
