Correct me if I'm missing something here.
1. I connect my phone to my pc
2. Phone Companion app opens
3. I unlock my phone
4. The option to "Move a few files manually" becomes available
5. I choose "transfer other files with file explorer"
6. I have an artist folder with two subfolders for separate albums. I drop them in the "SD Card" folder on my phone through file explorer
At this point my mp3s should be added through Groove Music...right? Am I missing something? I know there's a lot more lag between adding music and it showing up than in Zune, but I added those files 3 days ago. When I reconnect my phone and look in the sd cad folder (where all my other music that shows in groove music is located) the folders and files are definitely there.
I rrrrrrreally hope they plan to add the option to sync through Groove Music. I don't want to have to buy an iPhone just for the iTunes syncing experience. Zune was arguably better than iTunes. Come on MS you can do better than this. Are the new wave of MS project managers just not music lovers or something?
