Photo quality after amber update go down.

Anyone have any idea about the photo quality after amber update, seem that it's too much noise in low light, and lack of detail, even the front facing camera's the same, it's really bad, like captured by a 0.3 mpx cam :/

i noticed the same problem too. i raised this issue also somewhere here and you are the 1st i saw who posted the same issue...

It's **** poor, the 810 had a pretty good camera but this update did something that I don't like.

a quick glance at it, and yeah the live view image seems grainey.

Maybe this was a test update and we're the Ginny pig's and Nokia is taking note. I remember testing the
original 810 camera at night taking photos of the keyboard of my laptop at night and the keys were surprisingly sharp, this now looks like the 521.
I'm not so concerned with the live view I'm concerned with the way the photo looks.

I have no idea. Anyone has told or reported about this problem to Nokia/ M$ yet?
I hope they?ll get it soon and fix asap.

Remember the ISO bar has been raised,
Previously highest ISO setting was 800, now its 3200.
Higher the ISO more noisier the photo will get.

now this also depends on which phone you use.

Mine is lumia 810, but my friends with lu 920 have this problem too, every setting is auto,. Especially the front facing cam, it's really really bad quality, i can even see it without zoom in

p.s updated: i got the problem, set iso from auto to a specific number (any number up to u, just not the auto), and everything will be as well as before update, thz all u guyz

I finally discovered that if I disable the focus assist light my 920 does a much better job of taking photos in focus. But it's good to see that Amber fixes the problem.

My friend, you are not alone... I have had this issue identical. I too have a Nokia Lumia 810 and purchased a second to see what the problem was. Both times, Amber Software update degrades my camera. I get grainy crappy quality photos/videos front and back camera. We need to barrage Nokia with this issue, it definitely is real we have been left on a stranded island with this software bug. I too hope they fix it ASAP!!!
