Pictures doubled

All the photos in my Saved Pictures or Camera Roll (that were taken/downloaded after a certain date) all appear twice. My wife's 521 has had the same problem for longer than mine. It's not two copies of the photo, it's one file displayed twice. If I delete one, they both disappear. I connected the phone to my PC and confirmed that there's only one file for each doubled photo.

Has anyone run into this? Any ideas short of reset -- which I'm not going to do for something that's mostly an annoyance?

This is a known issue in WP8. I have run into it myself. Thankfully it has been fixed in WP8.1 so you won't have the issue anymore after the update.
