Photos normally shouldn't be "noisy" until an ISO of 800 or above. Also, I'd like to reiterate that the 1020 is still a mobile phone. Its camera still has a tiny lens and a small sensor. The Nokia sample photos look great, yes, but I wouldn't expect similar results in daily usage.
That would be what you could eexpect from a fairly mid end dslr, but not from a low end dslr or a compact camera. It's many variables to when noise shows or not, such as lightning, background, area details, it may even show noise at very low ISO sometimes even though everything seems to be perfect.
