Anyone have any tips for long exposure shots of water please?

Do it during cloudy days or late evening. Or pick spots in shades. Use tripod. Use your sunglasses or ND filters to darken it more. Use ISO below 100. In short, the objective is to get very long shutter speed when exposed correctly.

Can we go below ISO100 with the settings? Which level of ND filters do you recommend? Thanks!

Ok, I guess for this phone, ISO100 is lowest. ND filter level depends on the result you want versus available light. I brought that up just in case you're still not getting that effect. For beginners, your best bet is to avoid sunlight. Sunlight is extremely strong but we don't notice it because our iris adjust accordingly. If you're doing it in late evening and still not getting slow enough shutter that you would have liked, and don't have ND filter, just wait another hour for the day to get darker, and try it again.

Actually, I would like to try with a ND filter. I can't take good traffic trails in my country due to the ample light sources on the streets. Ended up most of the shots are over-exposed. Any advise on which level of ND filter should I get for 1020? I think there are different levels of shades right? Pardon me as I'm not really experienced in photography.

Just tried some long exposure shots of running water with my grip and tripod. Very poor results from anything over and including 0.3s. This is after trying various other settings too. Granted, that it's a bright day but there's occasional cloud cover which darkens the sky up nicely. I chose a very shady spot too with no direct sunlight on the scene or camera plus I used shutter delay. Really need to get hold of some filters which is a shame but it seems that's the only way to achieve good results.

It is impossible to get good results on daylight with that 2.2f aperture. It collects just too much light and photo burns through. Needs to be something over 3.0f or more i guess. It is even harder on my 920 with 2.0f aperture. Needs to be really dark if it is some way doable. On day time impossible.

Yeah.. you really need to pick up a cheap ND filter and a couple of rubberbands for this. I have yet to do so myself.

The ND on the 808 Pureview really spoiled me in that regard..
