Despite the lack of auto HDR mode, the 1020 sensor has pretty good dynamic range and it is often possible to reveal details in the shadows through simple post-processing. In the examples below, the pictures were taken in 5MP JPEG mode, and modified in Adobe Photoshop Express app to lift the shadows and lower the highlights. The resulting images turned out much better than the default ones. I would recommend this approach for scenes with strong lighting/shadow conditions.

I already posted this on forums and on different groups but no one seems to answer my question...i have lumia 1020 and i can able to shoot in raw, i am using lightroom and downloaded the dng color profiles.. but i dont know what to do next. i cant see it under "camera calibration" in lightroom.. how to import it? thanks

I wish I knew buddy. At least I replied. But I would suggest going to a Lightroom forum or getting a user/help guide or book from the library.

WB with incandescent lamp, ISO 100 or 200 , shutter speed on auto . Flash light every time on off
