I love the kinda symmetry in the first photo and the car with the indicator in the second. I was really excited after seeing an ambulance with its lights on speeding towards where I was photographing. Then all of a sudden, my missus, who was waiting rather impatiently in the car a few metres away decides to flash her headlights to say 'how long are you fu*$in! going to be?!?' and at that moment, I turned to see what she wanted and my finger brushed against the phone and closed the camera app....just as the ambulance passed! I was absolutely gutted as I knew I missed the photo as there was no chance I would be able to restart the camera app in time to catch the vehicle. So, if anyone else manages to catch that kind of image, I hereby claim credit for it

Another one from a bike ride. We've had some humid, sticky weather around here of late and this photo captures things rather well. The hills and mountains in the background are distorted by the hazy air. It was very tricky climbing that day and it was such a relief to hit the down slopes..although there did seem to be an increase in the number of flying insects willing to commit kamikaze in my mouth!!!

Just wondering, what is waist-level photography?

I saw some of my friends taking photos standing up normally but placing their cameras/phones at the side of their waist/hip instead of the usual eye-level or kneeling down. To my surprise, the picture looks somewhat different/unique/strange?

One of the reasons I wanted the 1020 was to take good quality videos of bass covers and other production/multimedia projects. This is a cover of Jamiroquai's Virtual Insanity, shot with both the 1020 and 720. Sadly enough, I forgot to upload on 1080p.
