thanks, but it;s already on the latest Cyan. Not sure what the next firmware can bring. Still to me, the zooming power is really really important. Especially if I go to a concert, a 4X or even 6X 720p zoom makes a whole difference.

Of course it will be great to have a faster processor so I can have living image, features that is exclusive for the next upgrade, but if given careful control, this 1020 just gives you the best image.

Many people said the focus is slow and not good, yes I agree. especially in the evening, that's the bad side, but I can live with it so far as I am not taking babies or fast sports photo. But seriously, that are times when I was not taking the photo but some others using my phone.

This may not necessarily be a video about shooting skills but more about what I had to capture as content.

Early this morning I made my cup of coffee I finished the milk from the bottle placed it on the counter and put the lid back on. After a few minutes I realized that there were some clicking noises from somewhere and when I saw it was the milk bottle contributing to the paranormal or unexplained I had my 1020 handy to take this kinda low light (but not really) video.

Here's a couple of my cat stalking a rat which tried to find refuge on the climbing frame in the garden. Sounds weird but I kinda felt sorry for the little vermin. The cat had thoroughly terrorised the little blighter.

Anyway, he was put out of his misery eventually.

The first two photos were taken from the kitchen, through the window which was at a slight angle. The quality wasn't great. The third is a still taken from a video and then edited in Lumia Creative Studio:

Here's some taken at Cwmcarn Forest Drive on Sunday. The drive is a 7 mile road through Cwmcarn forest and includes some amazing views over local towns and valleys. Unfortunately, due to the spread of Larch disease, the drive closed on Sunday for an indefinite period so that all the Larch trees can be felled and replaced with other species of tree. The work is expected to take a number of years.

It's a true shame as it's a wonderful place to go, either by oneself or with the family. The rest of the forest will remain open whilst the work is being carried out so that's good news for mountain bikers, people using the fishing lake and walkers. It's just the 7 mile road that is closing but that does restrict access to some of the best features and view points.

The weather conditions were far from ideal. It was a bit windy plus the low level mist moved at an alarming rate. Within seconds it went from being fairly clear to like this:
