i dont know about anyone else - but weather (especially clouds) photos are always a good photo opportunity... really like the ones from Brandon Riesenbeck above.

Of course the cats always seem like they just are putting up with the photos being taken of them!!

What do you think a person would say if you went back to 1950 and told him that you had a device that fit in your pocket which allowed you to access all of the knowledge accumulated by mankind throughout history, and you use it for looking at pictures of cats and to argue with strangers?

I can't speak for the 928, but there was a definite improvement on my wife's 920 when she used the Proshot app (even on auto mode).

Did you use ProShot?

Just default camera.

I used the camera in a Verizon store today and the first shot in auto mode turned really cool for some odd reason. When I changed the scene to florescent it was perfect. I set the mode to close up next and took a perfect macro shot. So from my few shots I could say auto mode is going to be trouble.

Finally got a chance to play with the camera for a bit. Cats were the only ones to cooperate with me. First one was in a dark room with flash on.


Next one is room with no flash.


This one I put on close up with no flash. There was some lighting behind me.

The Looks real image is about how bright it was to the eye. I captured that off of one of the video's I took of the same scene.

A couple friends and I went for our regular walk. While eating our burgers decided to try out the camera in a real low light situation. Looks pretty good for the near total lack of light. I couldn't even seen most of the detail the camera picked up.

thanks! I used the ProShot app with the P setting which is basically auto

In all honesty, I am commenting on this thread so that it appears in the "participated" list in my WPCentral app, and I have easy access to this thread .

a few more from my trip to the local farm stand..these are not straight out of the camera I decided to see how they held up to a little post processing..some sharpening, and a tonal contrast filter..not bad, you cannot do to much or they get noisy and image quality suffers at larger web sizes, but for teeny sensor the are not bad
