Anyone know a good 4K video player for a windows 8.1 pc ? tried VLC, Toshiba software, Cyberlink.

Cyberlink and Toshiba are good but video is a bit choppy ... please let me know of any good players .

Try Media Player Classic, it's my primary player and it's smoother than VLC

k-lite codec pack will help play anything... and comes with Media Player Classic bundled in. The codec is the important part.

Here is a idea as to how good the Lumia 1520 Denim 4K recording compares. Keep in mind that this is just a little ameture comparison and not to be taken as a thorough run through. I just wanted to see a little comparison as to the quality of the footage. So I mounted the 1520 on my rig and recorded simultaneously and here is what came out. I did not add any editing at all to either footage. This is strictly what came out of the two devices, watch in HD. Your Thoughts?

I like that top one very much. I'm so used to using ProShot for HDR I have not tried Rich Capture yet. (Old Habits...)

How large is the file size when using Bracketing in Lumia Camera?

I used Rich Capture for that shot and not sure about the size. Will check and post here.

OK... I answered this myself.

Rich Capture with Flash Off = HDR at the Bracket grouping designated in Settings (and you have to manually set it each time you enter Lumia Camera as it defaults to +/- 0.5ev)

When shooting 16:9, 5MP jpg + 16MP dng it does capture all 3 brackets at 16MP and when you open Rawer you see all three brackets. Only the 5MP jpg brackets get merged for Photo App viewing.

Which isn't a bad deal as it shoots fast.

These were taken from upstairs in my gym as I walked around the track. I was looking out the windows as I went around and had to pause a couple times to take some snaps. Rich Capture, no flash (A.K.A. HDR).

After the workout (GPS tracked by Health and Fitness thank you very much). After the shower. I went out to the lobby to wait for the wife. It was coming down in sheets. Then it blew over and I went outside.

These shots are "raw" 5MP jpg copies. One or two may have been autocorrected at most.

Of course the wife takes a while to get ready so I had a lot of fun wandering around the parking lot snapping plenty of pics. It's so hard to cut any out, but I actually did cull a few. These ones are all the merged HDR 5MP jpg copies. One or two may have been Cropped or Autocorrected at most.

I have recorded dozens of videos with my Lumia 1520. Slip some headphones on and check it out. The problem is never audio. It's usually the new LED stage lighting which sucks
