I was having picture saving issues with my 1520 on W10 as well. That is the only reason I rolled back to 8.1

When I was at Mt. Rushmore it was a really overcast and blah day.

Here is the original pic:




Even with Rich Capture it is rather dull and uninspiring. IMHO a bit of crop and the Eventide filter really made the picture worthwhile.




There are some very nice filters in Sight.

The camera on the 1520 is pretty decent but my expectations are pretty high too! I haven't had enough time with this camera and things will get better but I get the initial feeling that the RAW (DNG) file is a bit cooked to begin with a la Sony! Also, f2.4 means that while it will allow enough light to pass in, the DOF being shallow, the focus has to be spot on and I thought it was slightly inconsistent. Also the WB affected the color of the flower outdoors but the fruit basket indoor came out pretty good. These are all given a quick worout in LR.
