Latest batch.. Night scenes are all PureView; B&W are processed with VSCO - AgfaScala200 Preset and Dog is VSCO FujiVelvia Preset. Note on the night shots, did all of those handheld and only variation was I lowered the brightness 1.7-2.0 as the highlights were blown on the first couple I had tried..
I have to say I'm a bit disappointed with the way the 950 processes certain pictures, but it's definitely capable of taking some good pictures and I look forward to future updates to improve it.
@Con Georgiadis - wow that last one with the flash. The Lumia really nails the color compared to the LG. I always hate using a flash - even on my DSLR, but that looks really natural.
The camera is destined to get better. I think MS is working hard to bring improvements by next year. I just felt they had to release this phone no matter what because had they delayed this till next year- no one would probably buy this because most have bought an alternative already since they grew tired of waiting.
Hi everybody, can somebody upload DNGs? I'd love to compare them with my 1020.
Do you think could it be a worthy successor from an image quality standpoint? Thanks!
Here's a link to some of my photos from a trip to France, in two different days with different weather. The Lumia 950 performed amazingly outdoors, in bright sunlight, creating some stunning pictures. Pictures taken against the sun gave me the option to adjust a sort of HDR after taking the picture, giving me great control. Indoor photos were often noisy or blurry, but still performed well. None of the bad shots are posted here. The camera is quick at launching and taking pictures. I had a bit of a problem with white balance, often producing a yellow tint on the cathedral, but it was easily adjusted with some editing. Most photos have not been edited Most photos were taken in automatic settings
