Ant hunting! Couldn't get shot i wanted since those creatures just won't stay still :angry: and then i ran out of battery. Light was quite low already and i bumped ISO to 800. Used ProShot and manual focus. Gonna try later again to get sharper shot and maybe use some zoom. Ants are bit too small objects to shoot.

This is a wheat field I run by everyday.


They aren't artsy, but here are some pics I took of my cat. In the top one, he wasn't sure if he was allowed in the box, so he put a paw in and stared at me to see if I'd get angry.


He got comfortable with the idea of the box. Sorry the top one is so dizzying. I applied no special affects, I just happened to be moving when I took it. I think I did a good job keeping his head the center...

Here's a couple of photos I took today when I took my dog for a walk. Both used automatic settings with the flash off and taken within a few seconds of eachother.

Not sure why there is such a stark difference in colours between them???

It's probably something to do with the metering that the camera app uses to determine light intensity. Metering is the measure of how much light is making it to the sensor. If there's not much, the camera will adjust various settings to make it work. I'd put money on there being more of the sun in the top one, and less in the bottom one.

cropped and bordered in picasa...and slight increase in darkness...no other edits..
OIS kicked in well considering the shot was at sun down and the car i was in was moving very fast...

*edit* btw, right against the stage and right next to the speakers. I was pretty amazed by the sound quality. My wife took a video of the same song with her Note 2 and it was nowhere near as good.
